The new performances are slated for later this summer

After a spectacular run at Sphere in Las Vegas, Dead & Company have added six new shows to their residency. The newly announced dates are slated to start in August. Check out the full show itinerary below.

“We’re having a ball at Sphere, so let’s keep it going,” the group said in a statement. “See you for two additional weekends in August.”

After previously calling it quits after their farewell tour last summer, Dead & Company announced their initial residency at Sphere back in February. The 24-show residency started on May 16 and runs through July 13. The new run of shows picks up on August 1, and wraps up on August 10. Dead & Company’s final concert tour wrapped up last September with three performances at Oracle Park in San Francisco to an audience of over 118,000 fans.

Dead & Company are the latest act to take up residency at the all-new breathtaking venue Sphere. Rock icons U2 were first, and also played two rounds of shows. Last month, Phish played four nights.

Sphere is powered by next-generation technologies, including a 160,000 square-foot LED display inside the main venue bowl that wraps up, over, and around the audience, creating a fully immersive visual environment. At 16K x 16K, it is the highest-resolution LED screen on earth. The venue also features Sphere Immersive Sound, powered by HOLOPLOT, the world’s most advanced concert-grade audio system, which delivers audio with unmatched clarity and precision to every guest.

Dead & Company quickly became one of the most successful bands, touring consistently since its 2015 debut. Dead & Company has completed 10 tours, playing to more than 4 million fans across 235 shows, and became a record-breaking stadium act when it set Wrigley Field’s all-time concert attendance for a single concert, which still holds to this day. The band also holds the record number of performances at Folsom Field in Boulder, Colorado, with 13 shows; holds the record number of performances at Citi Field, home to the New York Mets, with 11 shows; broke Boston’s Fenway Park’s all-time attendance record for the most tickets sold in a single night.

Across all tours, the Dead & Company community, through the band’s legendary Participation Row, raised $13+ million to support nonprofits and environmental and social causes, with $4 million donated through charity auctions and online raffles. All of the funds raised are split between HeadCount, REVERB, and the Dead Family non-profit organizations, as well as the non-profit ocean conservation organization Oceana and MusiCares among others.
