Fans are eagerly anticipating the upcoming line-up announcement for the inaugural Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival (formerly Rock On The Range) coming this spring, May 17, 18 and 19th, to Mapfre Stadium in Columbus, Ohio! The full line-up is expected to be revealed on Monday, November 26th at 9:00am EST, however the festival’s website left a mystifying teaser trailer and coordinates code to break to give fans a bit of a clue!
The code to break contained the following:
Fans were quick to reveal that the code contained the word: DISORDER and the words in the video appear to spell out MANTRA
This lead many to believe that we may be finally seeing System of a Down as one of the headliners for this year’s festival, however this is just speculation at this point. Fans have been pushing for years for SOAD to be on the bill, so let’s hope that they will finally get their wish this year!
We, of course, had to dig into some other possibly rumored bands that could appear on the line-up this year and they include TOOL,Bring Me The Horizon, Disturbed, Ghost, and Incubus to only name a few. Danny Wimmer Presents has gone on record to say that the Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival will indeed be a “rock” festival, as many fans feared that the name change from Rock On The Range meant a different genre for the new festival.
For now we will have to anxiously await tomorrow’s big line-up reveal! In the meantime, we want to know who you would most like to see at this year’s Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival?
