The Slipknot singer will have a full band along with him

Corey Taylor [The Rock Revival]

Corey Taylor is hitting the road on his own this spring. The Slipknot frontman will have a full band along for the ride. Special guests for the run will be Cherry Bombs.

The exclusive run will feature just four limited engagements. Venue pre-sales begin tomorrow, Thursday, February 16 at 10am local time HERE. General tickets on on sale this Friday, February 17 at 10am local time. Scroll down for the full itinerary plus pre-sale codes.

Taylor released his debut solo album CMFT in October of 2020 via Roadrunner. He only played a few sporadic shows to support the record. In 2021, Taylor contributed a cover of Metallica’s “Holier Than Thou” to The Metallica Blacklist – a massive covers album of Metallica’s 1991 self-titled record in celebration of its 30th anniversary.

Slipknot recently released a surprise new song Bone Church.

“On the road, we have a ‘jam room’ set up backstage at every show, where we play, practice, warm up, and sometimes try out new ideas,” says Slipknot’s Clown (M. Shawn Crahan). “‘Bone Church’ started life in a jam room on the .5: The Gray Chapter tour. We’ve been bringing it closer and closer to life ever since, and finally, here it is. This one is for the fans – a further vision deeper into Slipknot’s history, which is still being written. Enjoy.”

Slipknot’s seventh studio album The End, So Far arrived last September via Roadrunner Records. The record peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, and hit No. 1 across Billboard’s Top Rock, Hard Rock, and Alternative Albums charts. Joe Barresi (Avenged Sevenfold, Chevelle, Clutch) produced the album, after having mixed Slipknot’s 2019 outing We Are Not Your Kind.

Taylor’s dance card is very full for the rest of the year. In addition to his solo dates, Slipknot have a jam-packed festival schedule lined up. The band is set to headlining Welcome to Rockville, Download, Hellfest, Graspop Metal Meeting, and many more.
