Bauhaus have canceled their highly-anticipated North American tour. The group’s frontman Peter Murphy is entering a rehabilitation facility. The upcoming trek was slated to start on September 6 at History in Toronto, Ontario. The group’s frontman Peter Murphy is entering a rehabilitation facility.

“It is with the utmost regret that the Bauhaus performances in North America have been canceled for the remainder of the year,” the group said in a statement. “Following a string of critically-hailed reunion shows across continents, Peter Murphy will be entering a rehabilitation facility to attend to his health and well-being.”

Among the band’s headlining shows was a scheduled appearance at Riot Fest in Chicago. In 2019, Murphy suffered a heart attack. He later stated that he would “make a full recovery.”
