The No Speed Limit Tour kicks off next January in Florida
Bachman-Turner Overdrive will return to the road in 2027 for a new run of U.S. concerts dubbed the No Speed Limit Tour, marking the legendary Canadian rock band’s first shows since it stepped away from touring in the fall of 2025. More than two dozen dates have been announced, beginning January 7 at Hard Rock Live in Orlando, Florida, and running through March 20 at Black Bear Casino Resort in Carlton, Minnesota. The itinerary stretches across roughly 10 weeks and includes stops in Florida, Texas, Arizona, California, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, West Virginia, Indiana, Iowa, Illinois, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Kansas. The current BTO lineup features founding guitarist and singer Randy Bachman, his son Tal Bachman on guitar, daughter-in-law KoKo Bachman on drums, bassist Lance Lapointeand guitarist Brent Knudsen.
The announcement comes after Randy Bachman spent the first half of 2026 back onstage with singer Burton Cummings under the Guess Who name. Their 35-show North American reunion tour, which began in May and recently concluded in Vancouver, represented Bachman and Cummings’ first performances as the Guess Who in 23 years. Reflecting on his career, Bachman recalled becoming captivated by rock ‘n’ roll as a teenager after abandoning classical violin and seeing Elvis Presley on television, saying, “I was a rock ‘n’ roll child at 14.” He described himself as fortunate to have toured with Cummings again and said it was exciting to watch huge numbers of fans enjoying the Guess Who’s classic songs. Turning his attention to BTO’s return, Bachman expressed his gratitude for getting another opportunity to tour America and thanked the rock fans who continue to support and inspire him.
