Amon Amarth are returning to North America next summer for a full headlining tour. The run kicks off on April 21 at Revel Entertainment Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico and wraps up on May 25 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Very special guests for the stacked trek will be Cannibal Corpse, Obituary, and Frozen Soul.

“Heed our warning; we are gearing up for our biggest and most epic raid in North American history,” Amon Amarth stated. “We are bringing a massive show that will leave your cities in ashes. Scorching the Earth with us are our good friends Cannibal Corpse, Obituary, and Frozen Soul. Come out to the shows and party like Vikings and raise your horns with us. METAL CRUSHES ALL!”

Ticket pre-sales for the Metal Crushes All Tour begin Tuesday, December 5 at 11am ET, running through Thursday, December 7 at 10pm local time. VIP upgrades with the new Viking Valhalla Experience are available Tuesday, December 5th at 12:00pm Eastern time. General on sales start Friday, December 8 at 10am.

Amon Amarth released their latest studio album The Great Heathen Army last August via Metal Blade.

“Overall The Great Heathen Army is one of the heavier albums we’ve made,” said vocalist John Hegg. “There are some dark and heavy songs that are really powerful and in-your-face, but we obviously have some trademark melodic Amon Amarth songs on there as well, and a few surprises too. It’s a really well-balanced album. It sounds great. [Producer] Andy Sneap is awesome. It was great to be able to work with him again.”
