(TRR) Foo Fighters are back. The seminal band have unveiled the official music video for their new single “Run.” The clip was directed by frontman Dave Grohl and can be viewed above. It is the band’s first piece of new material since 2015. Their last full-length LP was 2014’s Sonic Highways which debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top 200 and moved nearly 200,000 units in its first week out. There’s no word yet on whether or not “Run” is the first single from the follow-up.
In the video, the band play a group of crochety old men in a nursing home that attemps to control it’s residents with medication. However, the Foos rebel and rock out causing complete chaos. Its a career statement for the band. They’re getting older. Marriages, kids, a few gray hairs here and there. But they are still the same Foo Fighters from yester-year. Still rocking out, and still dominating the music world.
