The Rolling Stones have linked up with fashion designer Paul Smith to curate a special collection surrounding their upcoming album, Hackney Diamonds. The exclusive line features three t-shirts, and a limited edition Hackney Diamonds vinyl LP with an alternate cover designed by Paul himself.

Check out the full collection below.

“For this launch, I wanted to create something that stayed true to the vision that the band set out – with a few subtle Paul Smith ‘twists,’ as we call them,” Paul Smith explains. “I consider it an incredible honour to work with Mick [Jagger], Keith [Richards], and Ronnie [Wood] on this exciting collaboration – as a brand, we’ve always had a close relationship with the music business, and I count The Rolling Stones as one of my all-time musical heroes.” Paul says. “As well as being a fan, I’m also lucky enough to be able to call the band friends. It goes without saying that Hackney Diamonds is a phenomenal album, with a fearless spirit.”

Incorporating the band’s signature colour – red – the vinyl sleeve also features Paul’s distinctive handwriting for the band name and tracklist on the back. The vinyl itself has a sticker with a reworking of The Rolling Stone’s iconic tongue logo using the Paul Smith brand’s well-known Signature Stripe. It is available for pre-order through The Rolling Stones official online shop now, and will be on sale from 20 October in Smith’s London King’s Cross and Beak Street shops, and Mini Melrose in Los Angeles, California. The vinyl is also coming soon to Smith’s Shibuya, Tokyo shop.

Along with the vinyl, the collection features three collectable organic cotton tees featuring the exclusive vinyl print as well as a version with a print of the reinterpreted Signature Stripe tongue logo front and centre.

Fans can pre-order the shirts now HERE and the exclusive vinyl HERE.

Their 23rd original studio effort, Hackney Diamonds will also be The Rolling Stones’ first album without founding drummer Charlie Watts who passed away at 80 in August of 2021. During a live-streaming event hosted by The Tonight Show‘s Jimmy Fallon, the band revealed that two tracks on the album – “Mess It Up” and “Live by the Sword” – were recorded in 2019 with Watts on drums.

“Ever since Charlie’s gone, it’s different,” guitarist Keith Richards said during the event. “He’s ‘Number Four.’”

The album will be available in several formats including standard black vinyl, limited edition blue vinyl with alternate cover, limited edition CD + Blu-Ray box set, limited edition t-shirt or hat CD digipacks, standard CD, and CD digipack. The single “Angry” is also getting a physical release on CD, 7-inch red vinyl, and 10-inch black vinyl, while “Sweet Sounds of Heaven” is available on CD and 10-inch vinyl.

Fans can pre-order physical versions and pre-save for streaming now HERE.

To commemorate the release, the band has also curated a special merchandise line featuring Hackney Diamonds t-shirts, hoodies, a bomber jacket, a diamond-shaped whiskey glass, vinyl record drink coasters, an album lithograph, and much more.
