A band synonymous with summer launching their tour in one of season’s biggest destinations is quite poetic

Last night, 311 kicked off their summer tour in the most perfect place – down the shore in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Along with very special guests Bad Flower and Sitting on Saturn, the alt-rock mainstays are touring in continued support of their latest latest full-length album, Full Bloom, whose title track has surged into the Top 20 on the Alternative charts.

The band is currently celebrating the 30th anniversary of their iconic self-titled ‘Blue Album.’ A reissue is slated for July 11, featuring a 2-LP set with seven bonus tracks and will be available in two color variants – a direct to fan exclusive citrine shade and retail release blue smoke color via Legacy Recordings, the catalog division of Sony Music Entertainment. The reissue is 21 tracks on 2 LPs and brings together every song that was recorded by the band during the “Blue Album” sessions, and marks the first time the bonus songs have ever been released on LP.

Throughout their career, 311 have released thirteen studio albums, two greatest hits albums, two live albums, three DVD’s and a boxed-set, and have sold over 9 million records in the U.S. Ten albums have reached the Top 10 on Billboard’s Top 200 Sales Chart – and nine of their singles have reached the Top 10 on Billboard’s Alternative Radio Chart – including three #1 singles: “Down,” “Love Song,” and “Don’t Tread On Me” – along with ”Amber,” “All Mixed Up,” “Come Original,” “Creatures For Awhile,” “Hey You,” and “Sunset in July.”

The Unity Tour rolls on through August 29, wrapping up at the Cadence Bank Arena in Tupelo, Missouri, followed by a featured appearance at Rocklahoma in Pryor, Oklahoma on August 31.
