The Mars Volta have announced a string of 2022 tour dates. The trek kicks off on September 23 at The Factory in Deep Vellum in Dallas, TX and wraps up on October 21 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, CA. Additionally, The Mars Volta has released the new song “Blacklight Shine.” It is the band’s first piece of new material in a decade. Stream the official music video below.
The band returns to touring after a 10-year absence. In September 2012, The Mars Volta announced a hiatus. Four months later, the group formally disbanded.
The Mars Volta’s last studio album was 2012’s Noctourniquet released via Warner Bros.
