The trek will see guitarist Mike Mushok pulling double duty
Next, Staind and Seether are mounting a co-headlining tour across the United States. Very special guests for the trek will be Saint Asonia. The run will see guitarist Mike Mushok pulling double duty, as he will open the shows performing with Saint Asonia, and closing them out with Staind. The Tailgate Tour kicks off on April 22 at the Brandon Amphitheater in Brandon, Missouri and wraps up on May 15 at the Oak Mountain Amphitheatre in Pelham, Alabama. The tour includes stops at North Charleston Coliseum, Bon Secours Wellness Arena, and Santander Arena, among others. Tim Montana will open all shows.

Since 1999, Staind and Seether have been consistent forces in rock music. Together, both bands combine for nine No. 1 hits on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, and have dominated rock radio for two decades. Several of these hits crossed over to pop radio, and charted on the Billboard Hot 100. From 2001 to 2005, Staind released three albums that all hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Beginning with 2005’s Karma and Effect, Seether released four straight albums that all debuted in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200.
Staind are touring in support of their new album, Confessions of the Fallen. The record arrived back on September 22, and it is their first release through their new label, BMG. The long awaited follow-up to the band’s 2011 self-titled LP, Confessions of the Fallen debuted at No. 4 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart. A pair of singles made their way onto Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart – “Here and Now” and “Lowest in Me,” the latter of which gave Staind their first No. 1 hit since their 2011 song, “Not Again.”
The group recently wrapped up a North American amphitheater run alongside Godsmack.
Seether released their eighth studio album, Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum (If You Want Peace, Prepare for War), back in 2020. Producing three singles, the album cracked the Top 50 on the Billboard 200. All three singles from the record – “Dangerous,” “Bruised and Bloodied,” and “Wasteland” – topped Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. The record was produced by frontman Shaun Morgan.
Saint Asonia recently revealed a new version of their song “Wolf” with a guest appearance from Skillet’s John Cooper. The track is from their 2022 EP, Extrovert (Spinefarm). The six-song outing is a companion to their 2018 EP, Introvert. On December 9, the band will released both EPs in a physical package called Introvert/Extrovert. The physical recording contains bonus tracks as well.
