The band is set to tour with Shinedown and Papa Roach
Spiritbox have announced their forthcoming EP The Fear of Fear. The band unleashed the record’s first single “Jaded” on Friday. Stream the official music video below now, and check out the cover art and tracklisting.
The all-new “Jaded” follows the release of “The Void” which arrived back in April.
“The Void is a song that came about very quickly,” says vocalist Courtney LaPlante. I didn’t have to fight with anything to write it, and when that happens, I don’t argue with it. It’s a type of song that I’ve been wanting to write for a long time, I’ve heard it hundreds of times now, and it makes me so happy every time I hear it. It’s been such an amazing experience playing this song on our tour, and watching people hear it for the first time, in real time.”
The Fear of Fear is slated for release on November 3 via Rise Records/Pale Chord. Included on the upcoming EP are “The Void” and “Jaded,” plus four more new tracks. Fans can pre-save the EP now HERE.
This fall, the band is set to serve as special guests for Shinedown and Papa Roach on some exclusive North American concerts. The run begins on September 3 at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in St. Louis and wraps up on October 20 at Ball Arena in Denver. On Saturday, September 9, Spiritbox have a featured slot at Blue Ridge Rock Festival in Virginia.
In 2021, Spiritbox released their widely successful debut album Eternal Blue. After a handful of dates supporting Limp Bizkit, the band embarked on their first North American headlining tour which saw them sell out several venues across the continent. To date, Spiritbox have accumulated over 400 million career streams across platforms and 76.4 million YouTube views. They were also nominated for 2 Juno Awards last year for Breakthrough Group Of The Year and Metal/Hard Music Album of The Year last year.
