The track comes on the heels of their latest LP ‘The End, So Far’
Slipknot surprised fans on Thursday with the release of their new song “Bone Church.” The stand-alone single follows their latest album – The End, So Far. Stream the official music video now below.
“On the road, we have a ‘jam room’ set up backstage at every show, where we play, practice, warm up, and sometimes try out new ideas,” says Slipknot’s Clown (M. Shawn Crahan). “‘Bone Church’ started life in a jam room on the .5: The Gray Chapter tour. We’ve been bringing it closer and closer to life ever since, and finally, here it is. This one is for the fans – a further vision deeper into Slipknot’s history, which is still being written. Enjoy.”
Slipknot’s seventh studio album The End, So Far arrived last September via Roadrunner Records. The record peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, and hit No. 1 across Billboard’s Top Rock, Hard Rock, and Alternative Albums charts. Joe Barresi (Avenged Sevenfold, Chevelle, Clutch) produced the album, after having mixed Slipknot’s 2019 outing We Are Not Your Kind.
Slipknot have a full festival schedule lined up this year, with headlining slots at Welcome to Rockville, Download, Hellfest, Graspop Metal Meeting, and many more.
