The brief run of shows is slated for next February
With their highly-anticipated performance at Download Festival just a few days away, Pantera have announced their first round of tour dates across the UK and Ireland in over two decades. The brief trek begins on 18 February, 2025 at OVO Hydro in Glasgow. Check out the full itinerary below.
An artist pre-sale begins next Tuesday, 18 June at 10am BST, with general tickets hitting the market next Friday, 21 June at 10am BST.
After an incredible 20th anniversary celebration last year, Download Festival had some big expectations going into 2024. With heavy metal kings Metallica and 2000s juggernauts Slipknot headlining along with some new blood in Bring Me The Horizon, last year’s installment was an absolute triumph. Topping it will be a tall task, but Avenged Sevenfold, Queens of the Stone Age, and Fall Out Boy will try to exceed expectations this weekend. Joining them on the bill are Royal Blood, The Offspring, Machine Head, Bad Omens, Billy Talent, The Used, and many more. The festival also marks Pantera’s first UK show in over 20 years, and the final UK festival appearance for Sum 41.
On July 28. 2023, Pantera kicked off their first full tour in over two decades at The Pavilion at Star Lake, just outside of Pittsburgh. Revisit our review and live photos HERE. Later this summer, Pantera are re-joining Metallica as special guests on the second North American leg of their massive M72 World Tour.
Pantera’s last studio effort was their 2000 watershed album Reinventing The Steel. The album landed at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. Many fans and critics maintain that the album is the band’s best overall piece of work. In October 2020, the album was re-mixed by producer Terry Date and re-released on CD, vinyl, and digital download to celebrate its 20th anniversary.
In 2001, Pantera’s classic lineup went on an indefinite hiatus and never reunited.
To date, the four-time GRAMMY® Award nominees have sold over 20 million records worldwide.
