Check out the full tour itinerary below.
“We are excited to announce the Heaviest Tour of the Summer,” Pantera said in a statement. “We are hitting the road in the US & bringing Amon Amarth along for the ride.

After headlining Download Festival last summer, Pantera are currently on their first tour of the UK and Europe in over 20 years.
On July 28, 2023, Pantera kicked off their first full tour in over two decades at The Pavilion at Star Lake, just outside of Pittsburgh. Revisit our review and live photos HERE. This past summer, Pantera are re-joined Metallica as special guests on the second North American leg of their massive M72 World Tour.
Pantera’s last studio effort was their 2000 watershed album Reinventing The Steel. The album landed at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. Many fans and critics maintain that the album is the band’s best overall piece of work. In October 2020, the album was re-mixed by producer Terry Date and re-released on CD, vinyl, and digital download to celebrate its 20th anniversary.
In 2001, Pantera’s classic lineup went on an indefinite hiatus and never reunited.
To date, the four-time GRAMMY® Award nominees have sold over 20 million records worldwide.

Amon Amarth released their latest studio album The Great Heathen Army in August of 2022 through Metal Blade. The record hit No. 1 in Germany, and peaked at No. 2 on the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart. The project was helmed by producer and Judast Priest touring guitarist Andy Sneap. It also features a special guest appearance by Saxon frontman Biff Byford on “Saxons and Vikings.”
“Overall The Great Heathen Army is one of the heavier albums we’ve made,” said vocalist John Hegg. “There are some dark and heavy songs that are really powerful and in-your-face, but we obviously have some trademark melodic Amon Amarth songs on there as well, and a few surprises too. It’s a really well-balanced album. It sounds great. [Producer] Andy Sneap is awesome. It was great to be able to work with him again.”
Amon Amarth formed in 1992 in Tumba, Sweden. Founded by Olavi Mikkonen and Ted Lundström, the band quickly distinguished itself with a unique sound that blends aggressive riffs, driving rhythms, and memorable melodies. Although their name is inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien’s legendarium, their lyrical focus centers on Norse mythology, Viking history, and epic battles, themes that have become synonymous with their identity.
Fronted by vocalist Johan Hegg, Amon Amarth has released a series of influential albums—such as Once Sent from the Golden Hall, The Avenger, and Twilight of the Thunder God—that have cemented their reputation in the global metal community. Over the years, lineup changes have been few, allowing the band to maintain a consistent musical vision and a loyal following.
