The brief run includes four Northeast performances
Live have announced a string of 2022 fall tour dates. The brief run includes four Northeast shows. Tickets go on sale this Friday, September 16 at 10am HERE.
Back in June, frontman Ed Kowalczyk took a controlling interest in Live. The singer announced via Instagram that he now owns 55% of Live. Additionally, guitarist and founding member Chad Taylor was fired from the group.
“As of last evening, I control 55% of Live,” Kowalczyk said on social media at the time. “Chad Taylor is fired. He will never stop the music again. Thank you to all for your amazing love and support. I cried multiple times yesterday reading your comments and messages – it really means the world to me and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
In 2009, Kowalczyk left the band. In 2016, he reunited with Live and the group released a new EP Local 717 two years later. Since then, the band has been touring non-stop and were reportedly working on a new studio LP.
Live’s last album – 2014’s The Turn – featured vocalist Chris Shinn.
