Bruce Dickinson has revealed “Afterglow of Ragnarok,” the new single from his forthcoming solo album, The Mandrake Project. The song arrives on December 1. It will available on Deluxe Gatefold 7″ Vinyl, digital download, and streaming. The physical edition includes the B-side “If Eternity Should Fail (Demo)” as well as an eight-page comic prequel to The Mandrake Project comic book series that will launch in 2024. Additionally, the Iron Maiden frontman as confirmed a string of tour dates and festival appearances across Europe and the UK beginning next May. A few more European shows have yet to be announced. Joining Dickinson on the road will be guitarist Roy Z, drummer Dave Moreno, bassist Tanya O’Callaghan, and keyboardist Mistheria. Check out the full tour itinerary below now.

Dickinson also previously confirmed a brief tour to support the record, with many more dates slated to be announced soon. The run begins next April 18, 2024 at the Diana Theater in Guadalajara, Mexico and wraps up on May 4, 2024 at Vibra in São Paulo, Brazil.

“This album has been a very personal journey for me and I am extremely proud of it,” Dickinson said in a statement. “Roy Z and I have been planning, writing and recording it for years, and I am very excited for people to finally hear it. I’m even more excited at the prospect of getting out on the road with this amazing band that we have put together, to be able to bring it to life. We’re planning to play as many shows as we can in as many places as possible, for as many people as we can! As for what The Mandrake Project actually is… all will be revealed soon!”

Bruce Dickinson’s last solo effort was 2005’s Tyranny of Souls, which was propelled by the lead single, “Abduction.”

Next year, Bruce Dickinson will be a very busy man. In addition to his solo efforts, Iron Maiden have rolled out a full slate of touring activities. The group will continue their Future Past Tour with a run across Australia, New Zealand, and Japan starting in September. Very special guests Killswitch Engage will be serving as special guests for the trek. From their, the band returns to North America beginning on October 4, 2024 at the North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in San Diego, California and wraps up on November 17, 2024 at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas, followed by two exclusive shows in Santiago, Chile at Estadio Nacional.

Still one of the hardest touring acts around, Iron Maiden brought their Legacy of the Beast Tour back to North American last year for another massive run. The band’s latest album Senjutsu arrived in 2021. The album peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, and No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Rock and Top Hard Rock Albums charts. They recently played a string of shows in Canada, followed by an appearance at Power Trip in Indio, California alongside Metallica, AC/DC, Guns N’ Roses, Judas Priest, and Tool.
