Gilbert released his latest studio LP Tattoos back in September through Valory/Big Machine Records.
Last summer, Brantley joined hard rock chart-toppers Nickelback on their massive North American tour. Back in 2022, Gilbert hit the road with metal heavyweights Five Finger Death Punch. His last album, So Help Me God, arrived in 2022.
Born on January 20, 1985, in Jefferson, Georgia, Gilbert’s music style is often characterized by its blend of country, rock, and Southern rock. He first gained popularity as a songwriter when he co-wrote Jason Aldean’s hits “My Kinda Party” and “Dirt Road Anthem.” Gilbert launched his singing career with the release of his debut album, Modern Day Prodigal Son, in 2009. He followed up with his second album, “Halfway to Heaven,” in 2010, which featured successful singles like “Country Must Be Country Wide” and “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do,” both reaching number one on the country music charts.
Known for his deep, gravelly voice and rebellious image, Gilbert has continued to release music that resonates with fans of both country and rock genres. His subsequent albums, Just As I Am (2014) and The Devil Don’t Sleep (2017), further solidified his presence in the music industry, with hits like “Bottoms Up” and “One Hell of an Amen.”
Gilbert’s music often explores themes of life, love, hardship, and redemption, resonating with a wide audience. His ability to fuse different musical elements has earned him a unique place in the country music scene, along with numerous awards and nominations. Brantley Gilbert remains an influential figure in the music world, celebrated for his authentic sound and storytelling.
