Silvertung and Eternal Frequency served as special guests
Last night, rock mainstays Adelitas Way bought a super-sized show to Club XL in Harrisburg, PA. Along with special guests Seven Year Witch, Silvertung and Eternal Frequency joined the big bill. It was a night Pennsylvania rock fans have been waiting a long time for.
Local favorites Eternal Frequency kicked off the festivities. The band performed a solid set behind Emelle Elizabeth’s powerhouse vocals. Eternal Frequency’s new single “What Are We Waiting For?” dropped back in March. The band is set to release a cover of Nine Inch Nails’ massive hit “Head Like A Hole” on August 20. The band’s last LP came out in 2019, and fans hopefull they’ve been working on some new stuff during the pandemic.
Seven Year Witch unleashed some tasty licks and heavy grooves to get the crowd all kinds of crazy before Adelitas Way. The ripped through a set that featured their latest single “Shit Kees Happenin'” which was mixed by Seether guitarist Corey Lowery. Other highlights included “White Horse,” “Pipe Dream,” “Rags to Riches,” and a seductive power ballad version of “I Wanna Fuck You” by Akon and Snoop Dogg. It sounds weird, but they made it work.
Hailing from South Carolina, swagger-fueled southern rockers Seven Year Witch released their debut LP Songs Our Mothers Love back in 2018. In 2019, the band released a pair of singles – “My Turn” and “White Horses.” Now, with the release of their latest track “Shit Keeps Happenin’,” the band are poised to break out in 2021.
Adelitas Way took the stage for their headlining slot and kicked things off with “What It Takes.” The track is from their latest effort – 2020’s Shine On. Highlights included “Sick,” “Alive,” “Still Hungry,” “Last Stand,” “Notorious,” the brutal banger “The Collapse,” and more. They closed things out with their Top 25 Billboard Rock hit “Invincible.”
Adelitas Way have been rock music mainstays since forming in 2006. Their debut self-titled LP launched the band into the mainstream thanks to the massive hit “Invincible.” Now, they are one of the first rock bands to get back on the road. They are finally getting to bring Shine On songs to the masses, which was released during the pandemic. The band didn’t let their fans down during dark times, doing a number of live streams over the course of the last year and half. They continue to prove that their one of the most reliable acts in rock.
