Review and Live Photos
Last night, O.A.R. took the stage at Sound Waves in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, NJ in front of a sold-out crowd. Fans held onto their tickets from August 28 as the band had to reschedule due to a COVID-19 issue within their camp. The day finally came and the place was still packed, a testament to O.A.R. fans’ love and loyalty.
O.A.R. strolled onto the stage promptly with no opening act. They kicked things off with “About Mr. Brown” and the whole audience danced and sang along. From their they launched into their mega-hit “Love and Memories.” It was clear the crowd was in for quite a night.
Other highlights from the set included “Shattered (Turn The Car Around),” “Peace,” “California,” “Miss You All The Time,” “Hey Girl,” and more. They treated fans to two cover tracks – Led Zeppelin’s “Fool In The Rain” and “Stir It Up” by The Wailers. After closing out the set with a rousing rendition of their seminal song “That Was a Crazy Game of Poker,” they finished up with a two-track encore of “This Town” and “Missing Pieces.”
O.A.R.’s latest LP The Mighty peaked at No. 25 on the Billboard 200 back in 2019.
