The trek kicks off on April 1
Rock icons Bon Jovi are returning to the road this year. The band will kick off their highly-anticipated 2022 tour on April 1. The month-long trek wraps up on April 30. Check out the full itinerary below.
“It’s official! We’ll be heading back out on the road this April for the Bon Jovi 2022 Tour,” the band said on social media.
Pre-sales begin next Tuesday, January 11. Tickets will be available to the general public beginning next Friday, January 14. For more information on tickets and VIP packages, head to https://www.bonjovi.com/.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers had a tour planned for the summer of 2020, but it was scrapped due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. In October of that same year, the group released their politically-conscious LP simply titled 2020. Originally slated for release in May, the record ended up being pushed back to October because of the pandemic.
The album peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Top Rock Albums chart.
“I don’t think anyone will forget what their lives were like between March and September of 2020,” Bon Jovi told Rolling Stone of their new album at the time. “I think this is the Spanish Flu all over again. But none of us, you and I or our parents, were alive 100 years ago. So this is that moment for us. This song won’t be about shoulder pads and having a hairstyle. This will mark a moment in time.”
