The guitar icon has returned to the road at 85
Buddy Guy is bringing the blues back on the road. The legendary guitarist has returned for his first outing since the COVID-19 pandemic. The 85-year-old axman is still doing what he does best.
Guy kicked things off last night at the Santander Performing Arts Center with “Damn Right, I Got The Blues.” After the track, Buddy emphatically said to the crowd, “If you didn’t come to hear the blues tonight, you in the wrong fuckin’ house!” The audience roared.
From there, the rock icon ripped through a set that would make you think he was still a kid.
Buddy Guy’s 2021 tour wraps up on November 25 at the Arcada Theater in St. Charles, IL. Next year, he heads back out on the road beginning February 25. Tickets for all shows are on sale now HERE.
