After 13 long years of studio silence, thrash-punk godfathers Suicidal Tendencies released their long-awaited new LP today. Appropriately titled 13, the album is the band’s first new collection of songs since 2000’s Free Your Soul and Save Your Mind. Last summer, I sat down with frontman Mike Muir backstage at Metallica’s Orion Music + More Festival in Atlantic City, NJ to talk about the band’s legendary career, playing Orion, the new album, and more.
