This spring, Slash ft. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, Seether, Bush, Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless, Breaking Benjamin, Rival Sons and Philly favorites Cold Roses are set to rock 93.3 WMMR‘s 2015 MMR*B*Q on Saturday, May 16 at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, NJ. The MMR VIP Presale starts on March 3 at 10am and tickets go on sale to the general public on March 5 at 10am. Tickets are available via Ticketmaster.com.

Slash recently announced a string of 2015 U.S. tour dates in conjunction with his already scheduled festival appearances in support of his latest studio album World On Fire which debuted at #10 on the Billboard Top 200 back in Slash 5 (Large)September. The disc once again features Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators who will also tour with Slash this year as usual. Over the summer, Slash toured with Aerosmith on the Let Rock Rule Tour. Slash’s last album, Apocalyptic Lovedebuted at #4 on the Billboard Top 200 back in 2012. The album’s first single, “You’re A Lie”, hit #4 on Active Rock Radio. The album also went #1 on U.S Hard Rock and Independent charts. This outing is the follow-up to 2010′s star-studded self-titled, Slash. Every track featured a different special guest vocalist, including Chris Cornell (Soundgarden), M. Shadows (Avenged Sevenfold), Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters), Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge), and many more. After his guest appearance on the album, Slash tapped Alter Bridge vocalist Myles Kennedy for the tour. Today, Kennedy has become the permanent vocalist for Slash’s solo efforts, officially named Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators. The Conspirators are Brent Fitz (Union, Alice Cooper, more) on drums and Todd Kerns on bass. Post-Guns N’ Roses, Slash’s first solo stint came under the moniker Slash’s Snakepit, which produced two albums in fives years, and a U.S. tour supporting AC/DC in 2001.

With the release of their sixth studio effort Isolate and Medicate, Seether earned their secondconsecutive #1Seether debut on the Billboard Top Rock Albums Chart. They recently released a new music video for “Same Damn Life”, the album’s third single. Seether played the main stage on this summer’s Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival alongside Godsmack, Skillet, Pop Evil, and others. The band’s last album, 2011′s Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray, debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top 200. It also hit #1 on the U.S. Billboard Alternative, Hard Rock, and Top Rock charts and produced three #1 singles for the band. Seether’s 2011-2012 touring cycle saw them hit 17 countries and play over 70 shows. Their relentless effort garnered the band a nomination for “Best Live Band” at the 2012 Revolver Golden God Awards. Seether embarked on a tour with Black Stone Cherry and Skindred this past spring. All three bands then made festival stops at Fort Rock, Welcome To Rockville, Rise Above Fest, and Rock On The Range.

Bush bandBush recently released their much-anticipated new album Man On The Run which debuted at #8 on the Billboard Top Rock Albums Chart back in late October. The band worked with Grammy Award-winning producer Nick Raskulinecz (Alice In Chains, Foo Fighters, Deftones). The band is currently touring North America with Theory of a Deadman and Stars In Stereo. Bush formed in London in 1992 and have sold nearly 20 million records in the U.S. and Canada alone since then. The band has dropped 17 consecutive Top 40 hit singles on the Mainstream Rock and Modern Rock charts, including 11 Top 5 hits and six #1 hits – “Comedown,” “Glycerine,” “Machinehead,” “Swallowed,” “The Chemicals Between Us” and “The Sound of Winter”. Bush’s 1996 effort, Razorblade Suitcase, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200. This year marks the 20th anniversary of Bush’s seminal debut album Sixteen Stone, which hit #4 on The Billboard Top 200 and included their legendary hits “Comedown,” “Glycerine”, “Machinehead,” “Everything Zen” and “Little Things”.

Grammy Award-winning hard rockers Halestorm recently unleashed the official music video for their new single “Apocalyptic”. The track is the first single off their upcoming new album Into The Wild Life which is due out on April 7 via Atlantic Records. The band’s last effort, 2012’s The Strange Case Of…, peaked at #15 on the Billboard Top 200 and #1 on Billboard Hard Rock. The single “Love Bites (So Do I)” garnered the band the Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance”. Halestorm recently wrapped up a string of dates supporting southern rocker Eric Church on The Outsiders World Tour, and the band are set to headline the Carnival of Madness Tour this spring with contemporaries The Pretty Reckless. – by Matt Bishop
