Muse announce more 2nd Law North American Tour dates for September 2013

Muse bandIn reaction to the overwhelming response the band has received from fans on their current 2nd Law Tour, Muse have announced additional North American dates. A string of 8 arena dates has been added for early September. The trek kicks off on September 3 in Charlotte, NC and wraps up on September 19 in Salt Lake City, UT.

Muse was formed in 1994 by Matt Bellamy, Dominic Howard and Chris Wolstenholme. Their previous five studio albums have sold over 15 million copies worldwide. The group’s last album, The Resistance, debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top 200, and hit #1 in 19 countries around the world. The album garnered the band the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album, and an American Music Award. In July 2012, Muse’s song “Survival” was adopted as the official song of the 2012 Olympic Games. The band is currently touring in continued support of their latest album, The 2nd Lawwhich was nominated for a Grammy Award. The album hit #2 on the Billboard Top 200, and it’s first single, Madnessset the record for most consecutive weeks at #1 on the Billboard Alternative Chart.  – by Matt Bishop
