Muse Announce 2013 The 2nd Law North American Tour

In the wake of the release of their sixth studio album last week, Muse have announced tour dates for their 2013 2nd Law North American Tour. The trek kicks off in January in San Diego, CA and culminates in Quebec City, QC, with the possibility of more dates to be added. The band’s explosive new album, The 2nd Law (Warner Bros. Records), is the band’s fourth consecutive #1 record on the UK Albums Chart.

Formed in 1994, Muse is Matt Bellamy, Dominic Howard and Chris Wolstenholme. Their previous five studio albums have sold over 15 million copies worldwide. The group’s last album, The Resistance, debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top 200, and hit #1 in 19 countries around the world. The album garnered the band the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album, and an American Music Award. In July 2012, Muse’s song “Survival” was adopted as the official song of the 2012 Olympic Games. – by Matt Bishop
