Metallica Will Release ‘S&M2’ Album Next Year

(TRR) – Next year, Metallica will release their S&M² album. A photo of the album cover can be seen below. Although no details are available yet, it is safe to assume that the album will be available in digital, CD, DVD, and vinyl formats. The targeted time for release is February 2020.

On September 6, the metal titans reunited with the San Francisco Symphony for a special 20th anniversary performance of S&M. The S&M² performance kicked off SFS Musical Director Michael Tilson Thomas’ last season at the orchestra’s helm.

A film of the concert is coming to theaters for one night only tonight, Wednesday, October 9.

In a statement, the band said, “On October 9th, we are psyched to be bringing S&M² to over 3,000 movie theaters around the world for one night only!”

Details on purchasing tickets for showings can be found at www.Metallica.Film.
