James Taylor Announces 2017 Summer Tour Dates With Special Guest Bonnie Raitt

(TRR) Songwriting icon and guitar guru James Taylor has announced a 2017 summer tour with very special guest Bonnie Raitt. The U.S. run kicks off July 6 at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ and wraps up on August 11 with a landmark performance at Boston’s Fenway Park in Taylor’s current home state of Massachusetts. Taylor and Raitt will also appear at four other pro baseball parks along the way – Nationals Park in D.C., Wrigley Field in Chicago, and AT&T Park in San Francisco. James Taylor is one of the most prolific songwriters in music history. The five-time Grammy Award-winner was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000. To date, Taylor has sold over 100 million albums worldwide, making him one of the best-selling recording artists of all time. In 2015, Taylor charted is first No. 1 album on the Billboard Top 200 with the release of his seventeenth studio LP Before This World. Bonnie Raitt a fellow Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, with an astounding 10 Grammy Awards to her name. She is touring this summer in continued support of her latest release Dig In Deep which hit No. 1 on both Billboard Folk and Billboard Blues charts, and peaked at #3 on the Billboard Rock chart.
